I sit here in city that is try so hard to be like Seattle.
Everett is severely lacking in art, soul, and sophistication.
And this coming from a gal in her pj's at 3 in the afternoon eating applesauce from a Disney Stitch mug. (Give me a break...I have the flu)
I miss theatre. I don't need ot get paid for it. I just want to be part of productions again. Community or private or (dare I say) professional. But let's be realistic. Who would want me in a professional production? I was the only theatre major at WWU who couldn't audition for anything becuase my parents weren't paying my tuition. I had rent to pay and food to buy!
I often lounge in my apartment daydreaming of meeting my famous role-models. As the daydream becomes more vivid, it's smashed with the realization that sitting here in my pajamas isn't going to get me anywhere. Ouch.
I have to put forth more effort. You can't be found when you lock yourself up and wait for things to happen or for opprotunities to fall into your lap.
Now if only I'd stop typing and preaching it and actually DO IT.

Those who couldn't make it:

(Gummi Bears and alcohol!)
The Dangerously Awesome Jenny
(Black Canary! OMG!)
